- Would be perfect with a revised seam.1 people found this helpfulFlawless stitching, engraves exceptionally well, looks great overall, and feels comfortable to the touch. Four stars because the fabric along the seam is too short and not overlapped, so it bunches against the cup where it should lay flat, leaving a loose gap at the bottom that looks awkward. The thread seems ultra-durable, though, so even though you can see daylight through the seam, it feels like it will last through a considerable amount of wear. I pinched a few of these together with a binder clip, and the indentation mark popped out with a rub, looking good as new. Not perfect, but darned good. Will buy again.
- I really love these!0 people found this helpfulI was tentative about getting these cup sleeves because of the other reviews about black Saddle Collection products, so I bought a handful to test. I followed JPPlus's Hobby Laser instructions on my Glowforge Pro and used the template (both in the download section) and it turned out perfect on the first run. I love these! One alteration — I used the Glowforge high quality setting in the Hobby Laser instructions and it suggests using 340lpi, but I can't seem to set that in the latest GF settings. Instead, I used the low end of the suggested power with an LPI of 535. It's double the engrave time compared to the lower LPI setting, but I really like the result.
- Very hard to find right settings for clean engraving for black0 people found this helpfulSo first off turn the air off or very low, the top layer is very thin and doesn’t take much to burn through, the bigger problem is the silver layer is also very thin. I have a 50 watt blue/gray omtech and still haven’t found the right mix of speed/power what I can tell you is 30% is way to high closest I’ve come to semi satisfactory results is 10% and 80 speed
