They can be sublimated with either a sublimation mug press or a wrap in a convection oven. Works with our shrink sleeve wraps parts WRAP175 and WRAP195.

How long does it take to sublimate a mug?

The time it takes to sublimate a mug will vary depending on several factors including the method used to apply heat and pressure and the specific mug. Using a convection oven and a mug wrap, it may take around 12-15 minutes and a mug press may take anywhere from 2-5 minutes. Always refer to our tech tips and downloads for recommendations!

Can you sublimate the same mug twice?

Technically, yes. However, there are several factors to consider when wanting to fix a mistake or add a new design to an already sublimated mug. If the mug is overheated in the second press, it may dull the original design, damage the coating, or create the wrong color or pattern.
