The choice between a 10-watt and a 20-watt diode laser depends on your specific needs and application. A higher-wattage laser can usually complete tasks faster than a lower-wattage one. If production speed is critical for your application, a 20-watt laser might be more suitable.

Can you use a diode to engrave glass?

You can, however, to prevent the diode beam from diffusing through the material we recommend placing black matte cardstock underneath your clear substrate before engraving.

After the diode laser has completed engraving, you can use alcohol and lint-free cloth to remove the residue.
