There are a variety of ways to cut a plastic craft sheet. Because plastic sheets made for crafting tend to be thin, they can be cut with a pair of crafting scissors or craft knife. For intricate designs, it's best to use a machine dedicated to the process. Mechanical cutters, like Cricut and Silhouette can provide detailed cutting for a wide range of designs and projects.

Plastic craft sheets made from acrylic and labeled as "laser safe" can be cut or engraved using popular desktop laser cutters such as the Flux Beamo, Flux Beambox, Flux Hexa, Glowforge, and Omtech.
