- Inconsistent material0 people found this helpfulA large number of coasters I ordered have noticeable chunks/patches of cork missing, some have blotchy discolorations, and are very dusty. A significant amount of my order was unusable, as I would not resell these to my customers. Laser engraving turns out good for the most part, some inconsistencies due to larger size of chunks of cork. Wouldn't recommend for designs with fine detail. The price would be good if it wasn't for the quality issues on some, and these do seem to always be in stock (which was the issue with the other 2 supplies I had been using). Approximately 1 in every couple hundred has a chunk of cork in a odd place after rastering, I just flip it over and run it through again since the bottom doesn't' show in my finished projects. I haven't had the edge problem another customer had. I love the thickness, they feel substantial and good in your hand.
