The 5001 Guillotine Shear has been under development for a few years in response to requests for a shear like the original 3001 series that is better suited to a production line environment. The shear is available in a 25" size and either manual or air powered. Benefits of the new design include reduced height, depth of less than 6" (without base plate, table and back gauge), and fewer parts and fasteners. D2 blades are available as well as a measured drop off gauge.
