Is it easy to sublimate on cast acrylic?
Yes! Sublimating on cast acrylic is easy, but there are a couple of things to remember:
- Cast acrylic is covered with a protective film on both sides. Be sure to remove this film before sublimation.
- Cast acrylic offers excellent color reproduction, so use a high-quality image to achieve vibrant results.
- Acrylic is prone to warping due to its softness when pressed at high temperatures. To prevent warping, flip the acrylic piece every 20 seconds during the cooling process, applying light pressure with your hand to keep it flat.
