Siser® EasyWeeder™ Tool

Made to last from surgical steel with high-tack anti-static rubber-coated grip, the Siser® EasyWeeder™ tool makes weeding the excess Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) or EasyPSV™ material from your designs fast and simple. The durable steel end will not bend or break when weeding designs and can be sharpened if necessary.

How do I use the Siser® EasyWeeder™ tool?
Take the pointed, hook end of the Siser® EasyWeeder™ tool and poke it through the excess vinyl that you’re looking to remove from your design. It’s best to approach the excess vinyl from an angle. With the hook through the excess vinyl, carefully pull up from the design to remove the unwanted material.

Alternative Uses for the Siser® EasyWeeder™ Tool

1. Crevice Cleaner – Wrap a tissue around the metal tip of the Siser® EasyWeeder™ tool and swipe it through your keyboard, phone port, or any other small, hard to reach areas.
2. Box Opener – The sharp Siser® EasyWeeder™ Tool can easily slice through packing tapes, envelopes, mailers, and more!
3. Leather Piercing – The sharp point on the EasyWeeder™ tool can pierce through leather, making it a great tool for jewelry makers and more.
4. Removing HTV Mistakes – When the HTV adhesive is still warm, you can work the Siser® EasyWeeder™ tool around the edges of the HTV to lift and separate it from the fibers of the fabric if you have HTV that was accidentally applied.
5. Cutting Strip Extractor – The replaceable cutting strip on cutters helps prevent damage to the blade or the actual machine itself when cutting materials without a mat. Eventually this piece needs to be replaced, and the Siser® EasyWeeder™ tool makes it easy to grip the old strip and peel it away.
